Kiva ensimmäinen koulupäivä! Tänään maanantaina on yks luento peruttu, mikä tarkoittaa että ei sitten oo ollenkaan koulua. Aika vähän loppujen lopuksi on koulua. Alku viikko on löysä ja sitten loppuviikosta on raskaimmat päivät. Yllättävän paljon saa kuitenkin opintopisteitä eli luultavasti kursseilla on ryhmätöitä ja muita projekteja, joilla sitten se lukujärjestys täyttyykin. Ilma on kirpakan syksyinen, alkupäivien lämmöstä ei oo enää tietoakaan.
It's good beginning of school life. The first school day and no lectures at all. We really don't have much school. It's easier at the beginning of the week and it gets harder in the end. Still it's not too much. I guess the calender is going to be filled with different kind of projects and team works anyway because the amount the credits we get would suggest that. The weather is nice, clear and cool. It's not as warm as it was when we first arrived in Otaru.

Eilen käytiin sellasessa isossa sushiravintolassa. Ravintola toimi samalla periaatteella kuin Tokiossakin, eli annokset pyöri liukuhihnalla. Tämä oli niin iso ravintola, että kokit oli siinä keskellä ja valmistivat sekä tilauksesta että valmiiksi hihnalle annoksia. Japanissa tällä periaatteella toimivaa ravintolaa kutsutaan Kaiten-sushiksi.
Yesterday we went to a big sushi restaurant. The restaurant worked same way as the sushi restaurant in Tokyo. The dishes were on conveyor belt and you could pick up the plates yourself. This however was bigger than the one in Tokyo therefore the chefs were standing in the middle and making the food there. You could either order or just pick up the delicious looking ones. In Japan a restaurant like this is called Kaiten-sushi.

Ravintola ei ollut loppujen lopuksi edes kallis. Söin savustettua lohta, hamachia ja paneroitua katkarapua. Noin seitsemän euroa tuli maksamaan, mikä ei ravintolahinnoissa ole kovin kallista!
The restaurant wasn't even expensive. I ate smoked salmon, hamachi and tempura shrimp. It was something like 7 euros and it's not expensive compared to Finnish restaurants!

| Ainakaan vielä ei oo ruskaa! Syksy on kuulemma tosi lyhyt ja jossakin alkaakin jo näkymään kellertäviä puita. Yet there aren't autumn colors to be seen. They say that autumn will be short so I guess we will see the changes soon. |
