Koitettiin heti lauantaina uudelleen, jospa päästäis vierailemaan keisarillisen palatsin itäpuutarhassa. Puutarha oli ihan kaunis paikka vierailla ja aurinkokin paisto 27°C teholla.

On Saturday we decided to try again to get into the Emperial palace east garden. I'm happy we did. The garden was nice place to visit. We went a bit late so we had only couple of hours. It wasn't quite enough but still we enjoyed a lot. The sun was shining very brightly and it was around 27°C degrees.

Puistosta suunnattiin Asakusassa sijaitsevalle temppelille ja 5-kerroksiselle pagodalle. Yllätyttiin kun löydettiin ihana ja tunnelmallinen markettikatu pienine kojuineen.

After the garden we headed towards Asakusa to see the temple area with the 5-storey pagoda. We were happily surprised when we found out that there was also a small market area.

Törmättiin tällasiin riksakuskeihin. Yks poika osas Englantia ja heti alko meille jutteleen. Oli jo juossut sinä päivänä parisen tuntia liikenteen seassa. Ei mikään helpoin työ. Oli kuulemma alottanut aika vasta. Niillä oli sellaset omituiset sorkkatossut, että ehkä se sitten helpotti :D

There were these riksa tours. One newcomer tried to get us in but we had another plans. He told us the he had been running already couple of hours in traffic. It's sure hard job! They had a bit weird shoes (like hoofs), probably due to the running.

The temple itself

Mentiin hieman ennen kuutta ja aurinko laski todella nopeaa kuuden jälkeen. Kyllä näytti kaikki niin kauniilta iltavalaistuksessa!

We went a bit after six o'clock and therefore the sunset came just bit after we arrived. Everything seemed so beautiful in evening light.

Jollakin oli lemmikkisika - someone had a pig as a pet :D

Asakusasta suunnattiin Tokio toweriin. Se on maailman korkein torni, sekä toiseksi korkein rakennus.

Mitä lähemmäs päästiin, sitä hurjemmalta tuntui. Jonotettiin melkolailla, mutta ylöshän sitä mentiin. 

From Asakusa we went to the Tokyo tower. It's the tallest tower in the world and also the second tallest building. There was a long queue but that was something we had to do! To be honest it was more scarier to walk towards that building than go high!

Koko päivä oltiin menty silleen, että aina siirrettiin ruokailua kun oli parempaakin tekemistä. Illalla sitten nälkäisenä päätettiin mennä kokeilemaan sushia. Siinä sitä mitattiin se oikean nälän määrä :D

We forgot to eat or we kinda didn't have time for that. In the evening after all we were starving and decided to try sushi. It was a good measurement for hunger :D At least we didn't overeat due to the hungriness.
