Enää vain viisumihakemus niin kaikki viralliset paperihommat on selvitetty. Viisumihakemukseenkin on tarvittavat paperit kasassa, pitää vaan mennä teettämään se erikseen Helsingissä Japanin suurlähetystössä. Sen voi hakea hieman ennen lähtöä, mutta uskaltaako riskeerata, että jotain olisikin pielessä ja ei saisikaan viisumia?
Menen ystävän kanssa Tokioon kahdeksi viikoksi ennen koulujen alkua ja oikean majapaikan löytäminen on työn takana! Lähtö alkaa jo hieman stressaamaan, mutta onneksi asioilla on tapana järjestyä.
Saimme hakematta ja pyytämättä Jasso-stipendit Japanin päästä. En jaksa vielä uskoa sitä todeksi, vaan odotan että jossain vaiheessa huomaavat virheensä :) Kiva kyllä, että ei oo pelkästään omien säästöjen ja pienen KELA-tuen varassa.
Koululle pitää tehdä vielä muutamia lähtöönvalmistelevia tehtäviä, mutta ne tuskin tuottaa ongelmia :)

Everything is ready for the Japan. Only visa application needs to be finished. I've got all the documents that are needed for it and the lady from Embassy of Japan told us that we just need to visit them and they'll do the visa while we're waiting. Should we go just before leaving country or earlier? I'm not ready to risk that something's wrong with the documents and I'm unable to get my visa after all!
Basically only thing to do now is to find affordable and well-located motel for our 2 weeks stay in Tokyo. After that we'll head to the northernmost Island of Japan, Hokkaido.
I'm really happily surprised that we were given a Jasso scholarship for our short-term study period there in Otaru. It's really comforting to know that you are not only supported by your own savings and KELA (Finnish governmental support for students) :)
I'll still need to do some exchange-related exercises for one of the teachers in our school but I doubt i have difficulties with those since they are created to help student to integrate to the studies abroad.
