Teeseremonia

Pahoittelen blogihiljaisuutta. Koulussa on ollut aika monta isoa tehtävää, mitkä on vaatinut huomiota. Eikä täällä nyt sen kummempaa oo tapahtunutkaan. Ihan normaali arkea. 

I'm sorry for not updating my blog for a long time. I have had a quite few school assignments keeping me busy. And to say truth, nothing so fancy has happened :D

Katsokaapa jääpuikkojen kokoa! Ei oo es pienimmästä päästä.

Tänään oli koululla teeseremonia kerhon järjestämä teeseremonia. Japanilaiset rakastaa vihreetä teetä, joten ei oo kumma että siitäkin on kehitetty oma taiteenlajinsta. Huoneeseen mennessä riisuttiin kengät, lattia nimittäin oli herkkää puusta tehtyä tatamimattoa.

Today we had tea ceremony organized by tea ceremony club. Japanese do love green tea, so it's no wonder that they have created a art form of it. Before entering the room we took our shoes off. The carpet was a delicate tatami made of wood.

Tatamimaton keskellä oli kuoppa, jossa teepannu oli kuumenemassa
In the middle of tatami, there was a hole where the tea pot was getting heated

Ei ihan perinteinen asu päällä, mutta liikkeet oli kyllä tarkkaan harkittuja ja hitaita
He wasn't wearing anything traditional but I could see the movements were slow and careful, well-planned

Syötiin tällanen makea sokerinen keksikarkki ennen teenjuontia, nimittäin tee oli kitkerää
Before drinking tea, we ate this kind of sugar cookie because the tea was bitter

Kun oltiin juotu teet, opetti hän meille kuinka sitä tehdään oikeaoppisesti
After we had drunk our teas, he told us how to do it ourselves

Lopuksi vispataan tee kuvassa näkyvällä vispilällä vaahdoksi
In the end you mix the tea to have foam

Tee oli ihan hyvää, vaikka en kovin paljon vihreästä teestä pidäkkään.

The tea was nice even though I'm not big fan of green tea.
